Shhhhh....don't let the other airlines know about the best customer service agents, the best boarding process, the best flight crews, the best behind the scene folks and the free bag thing. Southwest, by far, has figured out the airline business and the commercials, using their own employees, just proves it more. Shhhh...we'll just keep it here within this Luv Circle.
When I have to fly someone else and I'm watching folks trying to fit their baby grand pianos in the overhead bins.....causing takeoffs to be late......I'm wondering..."what were they thinking when they began charging for bags?"
I now have my signifigant other finally flying you. When I pick him up from the airport - he's cracking up at all the funny flight crew stuff that went on. And he luvs the customer service when he has to change flights...which is quite often.
Challenge: Now I dare you to wave that magic Southwest wand and figure out a way to become the most efficient airline to fly to the Bahama Out Islands. If you figure that one out - you will have a monopoly within months.
