Could this include Companion Pass holders, there is not a real benefit for me as an A- List member, if my wife is still waiting other in the other line. Surprised PDX is not on your list, RR members already get to use express lines there. Any plans for a BWI- PDX nonstop?

Have flown 6 flights using new boarding system, it works great. But, I must say the new ticket prices are a disaster. Prices fluctuate all over the scale for no apparent reason, changing from day to day. I can fly BWI to the west coast cheaper than BWI to West Palm Beach (one third the distance). Ding fares from BWI are a joke. Is anybody really going to pay 3 times the price for the BS fare, just to board first and get a "free" drink? ( I have about 40 free drink coupons if anyone wants them) Please, bring back common sense pricing. Dave

How about, Families will be able to board first, if they would like sit in the last 10 rows. They would then be close to the rear galley and bathroom. Boarding first,it gives them time to get situated as the front of the plane starts to fill. (without clogging the isle). At the destination, ground crews have time to have strollers and car seats on the jet way when the get off last.

The biggest change that I see is the price of tickets. While people are distracted debating who gets to be first in line (like school children) ticket prices took a jump. My frequent flight BWI-PBI has almost doubled. We have traveled for years at a cost of 49.00 to 79.00 each way. Today the tickets for Jan. are available 124.00 to 172.00. The DING fare today is 81.00- 94.00 two weeks ago it was 59.00. Southwest is a great airline, and I don't mind price increases for operating expenses, but this is ridiculous.

One Question?
For years passengers were allowed to use GPS on SWA. I would pass the time with my Airmap 2000. In June the policy was changed and GPS is now listed on the never allowed column in Spirit magazine. The Flight Attendant's answer "They interfere with the planes navigation equipment " is not true. I have ask several of your pilots who were surprised at the change and had no answer. What is the reason for this change?

The people at SWARM do a great job. My travel schedule is usually flexible and I always look for a "Bump". I have been on the list a few times, but have yet to be on a flight where volunteers were needed.
The flexibility to cancel or change a reservation anytime with no fees is one of SWA,s benefits over other carriers. Great Job!

Please keep open seating. As a frequent flyer on Southwest ( my wife has had a companion pass for 3 years now) having the option to pick seats is great. With online check in an A boarding pass is usally available, if it means that much to you. In our case, tickets are usally purchased less than 30 days before the flight, with open seating all the "good seats" are not reserved and unavailable. With small children preboarded it is possible to pick a seat away from the cute little seat kickers, not so with reserved seating. For people with only carry on bags, sitting in the front of the plane and a fast exit is a small time saver, for the rest it's just a mad dash exit, only to get to the baggage carousel and wait. Travel an any airline today takes time and patience, Southwest does a great job for us.
