It amazes me how uneducated some of the answers are here. And also how obvious it is that some who have posted were paid to do so. Kevin Smith is an average American, bottom line. I have seen much fatter people on flights left alone. I am not a small guy but I am by no means fat. 6 foot 230lbs. average American. Southwest had no right in this situation to do what they did. The moment the armrests were down and the seat belt was on they should have apologized immediately. Not to say they shouldnt have as soon as he stated who he was but that should have been for anyone that was discriminated in this manner.
