It should be a service that you order when you buy your tickets. If you have it so that you have to put your credit card info in to sign on, it's not secure and you will have more complaints than anything. Just be prepared to refund the wifi money in case a server is down.
Another thing you can do is allow some of those miles to cover wifi. There are people who maybe don't fly enough to use frequent flyer points for free flights, but who could use the points to pay for wifi. This can also be a perk/add on to the Southwest credit card or a flyer's club card.
