May I add that, A-List travelers seem to travel for business. Hence, it is just them. Pre-boarders will bring a companion and save additional seats. Let's show some compassion for the 15 A-List passengers. Its only 15 seats. On flights to LAS, pre-boarders can take up to 50 seats.

I am a frequent flyer who records take-offs and landings. This is a very difficult question for me to answer. #1- The best seat is infront of the wing with a full window view. This would be in rows 2-4 but are usually occupied by pre-boarders. #2- The next best seat is immediate behind the wings. I enjoy seeing/recording how the wings manuver during takeoff, desent, and landing. Just so awesome to see.

Let me first clarify by stating, I am not throwing shade at "pre-boarders". But, I do not see the benefits of "A-List" boarding. The pre-boarders get first "dibs" at the best seats, not the "A-List" passengers. Pre-boarders will save many seats. So, the A-list passengers may pay for a lousy seat. I think the 15 "A-List" passengers should board first, then the pre-boarders". Because so many pre-boarders get on first, with their assistants, the best "A" seats are gone. So, I am put off with purchasing or upgrading to an A-List ticket.

I use them several years ago. I actually ordered my own from Amazon. So, I did not have to rely on one being available. No shame. Even though I no longer need one, I feel that the newer planes should have long seatbelts. Its a sign of the times.

Thanks for the clairification. I always do the EB but only the "Wanna Getaway" purchase. I know see the difference. My position will vary, but I usually get an A 16-60. I have never got EB with too many B positions. Its okay... especially with A boarding as there are pretty good seat selections.

Travel days can be pretty long. Quite a bit of time sitting during flight. Hence, to make the experience a bit more healthy, my practice is to NEVER use an airport moving walkway. I wear a fitness band and I enjoy reaching my 10,000 steps per day. Air-travel days are excellent opportunities for fitness and physical activity. Skip the moving walkways at the terminals and just walk! I enjoy it!!!

Self-tagging luggage is the best thing EVER! I have been self-tagging my luggage at MDW and LAS ever since it started... about a few months now. I save so much time and NO MORE WAITING in line to check my luggage. It only takes about 2 minutes! I have never had a problem. As a matter of fact, from the time I arrive at either airport to arrival at my gate, it only takes about 10 minutes. This is the best system ever!!!!
