Good for you Southwest! I'm pretty fat myself and If I get to the point of needing two seats I expect to Pay for two seats. I don't like being jambed in with people either.
The MAIN reason he should have been tossed off the flight is his RUDNESS and BOORISH behaviour. Anyone verbally abusive to the flight staff should Not be on the plane and there's no reason other passengers should have to listen to him.
