Please people! It is possible to fly with food allergies! My daughter has and still does without having had an incident.
Fly if you want or don't...just be rational.
If you see a bee hive, do you harangue the bees for being a threat to those with allergies? No, you go around or avoid the hive.

No offense was meant. Read the post again, I'm sure had you been at the gate on your soapbox....those returning servicemen and women would have ignored you. I'm willing to bet they were just glad to be home. Don't use their sacrifices as a platform for your views. Your "worst airport experience" is probably a day in the park compared to their lives in a world away from home.

Neither SWA nor any other airline have anything to do with security protocol. It's entirely the TSA's department. You want change? Contact your district representatives or congressmen, with a vote if need be. A novel idea, I know, especially in an age in which people pointlessly harangue others for the sake of it and take no action to remediate what they see as offenses to themselves or others.
As to the actual topic, congratulations and welcome home to all.

Very neat.....I recently discovered Ray Lamontagne by accident while searching for Ray Charles on Rhapsody. If you are tired of what passes for "music" these days, then give Ray (either one) a try. You will not ne disappointed.
Cheers,
Me

Really...why is there any bellyaching about what you will miss out on with the demise of AirTran? Think about it...if that model was so great, then why is it it being sold off? No business can please you indefinitely if it is not profitable.
