Guys,
The fat person policy that you now have is clearly somewhat subjective in practice, and you have no system for administering it fairly yet. There evidently was a heaver person on the plane.
To allow Mr Smith to board your plane and sit down and then come over and eject him is in no way a courteous way to treat a customer. You put Kevin Smith in a situation of public embarrassment, and that is just not an acceptable way to treat any customer. Then, you made him wait for quite some time and lied to him about the pilot's involvement. Dreadful customer service!
Why did your staff let him board the plane at all if there was a real weight seating issue detected before his boarding?
It appears that he was a longtime customer who was treated in a very shabby manner. Now that he is speaking out, you refer to him jokingly in your blog as Silent Bob.
The joke is on you for not understanding that customer service is not at all about exchanging barbs in this instance. A sincere apology is required.
