When I was a SWA Employee, I often asked myself, "What would Colleen do?" when handling a Customer Service question. By following her example of using common sense, good judgment, and, above all, compassion, I knew I would make the right decision.
These are just a few of the things that, to me, best exemplify her genuine and generous spirit:
Employee/Family photos on the hallway walls throughout HDQ
Festive holiday decorations
Personal thank you notes and commendation letters for jobs well done
Christmas programs with Employees joining in the carols at the end
Capitalizing Customer, Employee, and Leadership
I will always be grateful that I had the chance to experience Colleen's Leadership.
I hope the future brings her much happiness and joy!

Oh, the drama!
Seriously, let's all calm down and stop allowing the news media to tell us what to think. All it takes is a red "Breaking News" headline flashing at the top of the screen to make us all stop in our tracks and wait breathlessly for the next scrap of information, even if it's half-true or poorly investigated.
SW's safety history is unparallelled. You're safer flying on a SWA plane than you are driving in your car to get to the airport. Do you really, truly believe that there's some great conspiracy to jeopardize the safety and wellbeing of SW's customers and employees?
Chill, people.
