Lots of comments on the change in drink coupon rules. The expiration dates - with the one year advance notice - make good business sense. My one concern is the equity in the 'same flight' rule on the Business Select coupons. SW is in effect encouraging early morning drinking, not the most socially responsible position to stake out. Perhaps you will consider a '30' day expiration for such coupons?

The paper timetables are exceptionally handy when one is at the airport and needs to change plans and reroute due to flight delays or cancellations. It also is handy for advance trip planning in that it provides a better overview than the website. WN suspended paper timetables a few years back, then returned them. Hope you repeat the process.

I have no way to verify the USA Today story. But Wien Air Alaska f/k/a Wien Consolidated operated from approximately 1927 through 1984, more than a decade after Southwest got started. Wien's airline code was WC.

BNA - I think it was originally named Bates Field ... I think there is a plaque in the Nashville terminal to that effect.

Brian---This is a great topic. I'm in the system frequently, always look at the tail numbers, as well as the names painted under the portside cockpit windows on a few of the aircraft.
And I've been curious about those I could not identify. N711HK was easy and the "JW" and "CB" aircraft were logical as well.
Who is/was Donald Ogden?
And I've recently spotted an aircraft several gates away, where I could not read the name outside the cockpit clearly but it seemed to be "John ..." and tai may have been N300WN. Is that enough of a clue for you to decode?
Thanks.
