I am a huge Southwest fan (if there is such a thing). However my last flight on SWA is causing me to consider looking for another airline (but how will I live without the attendants jokes and singing-I love their personalities 🙂 )Anyway, I was flying to my parents for Christmas and just before the plan took off, the passenger across the aisle from me, dog jumped out of its bag.
I am allergic to animals, ( and the man next to me said he was allergic to dogs too). And I don't mean those cute commericals allergic that clears up instantly with a pill. I mean I have asthma which can be triggered by my allergies. Anyway, even though I was moved to the back of the plane, I still had problems and ended up being sick for Christmas. On the return flight, I asked if there any animals on the flight and there wasn't.But in the gate area, a woman took out her dog and was grooming in, pulling off hair which was getting on the chair and floor. SWA is basically the only airline my mom and I fly cause we really do love the on time (often early) depatures and arrivals, friendly service and good snacks.
