It sure would be interesting to be a fly on the wall in the exec boardroom at Southwest right about now, after they had all those grandiose plans that came to a screeching halt. One might wonder if they were truly ever serious about buying Frontier or if they temporarily forgot about the fact the labor unions would be required to come to an agreement before this could go forward. Did they really think 2 separate labor unions could come to an integration agreement in just a few days? I wonder how the board of directors feels about this aborted attempt.
