Ha, ha, Ding! boy Joe. No, I'm sorry to say that's not my birthday. Good guess, though! It is next month, but I think it'd be neat to have 6181971as my number, since it's SWA's birthday! 🙂 Now, if SWA began service 7261976 (when I was born), then we'd share it.
I sure do LUV Pi!! Ha, ha-cherry pie, that is.
SWA LUV to all, & to all a good flight!

Did you really get to, Kim? Awww, I want to! You should have gotten a picture & her autograph! Carole, can you please, pretty please with SWA peanuts (or pretzels or plane crackers) on top, be one of my FAs next month? :)
I have to share another rhyme I made up this morning about SWA. Here it is (actually, I didn't write it before now, so it may not be like it was in my head):
I always like to fly the best, so I always LUV flying Southwest.
I never need to bet a dime, because Southwest's planes are great at arriving on time!
Plus, they have great fares, & I LUV the Employee's casual wear.
When I fly & want something to eat, I never turn down Southwest's snacks as they make a tasty treat!
The Company always has Positively Outrageous Service, so I am never nervous.
So, if you want to fly the best, always go with Southwest!
Well, that's all I can think of now; I want to make it longer.

Howdy, Kim! Yes, I guess I'm not always SOONER! Ha, ha.
I wonder if the Pilot & Captain would make a special stop for me in DAL when I go to & from MCO next month. Maybe I should ask! Surely they would, especially when I'm wearing one of my seven (yes, seven) SWA shirts, & when I tell them I'm going to work for them, even though I don't know when. Perhaps they'll need to reroute & take the scenic route with a stop there. Gotta help a sista out, you know!
SWA is
So
Wonderfully
Awesome!
That's what I'm talking about! 🙂 Peace out, Girl/Boy Scout!
Hugs,
Leah

I bet whenever I go to work for SWA, I'll start saying city codes to everyone, rather than city names! When I go to MCO next month, I'll have to do like I did before when checking in & say the city code instead of the name. 🙂

Kim, how about letting me send you a hug? Will that work? 🙂 In addition to wanting Carol as one of my FAs, I want James to be one of them, too; I know he's based out of MDW, though. When I went to CMH last October & November, I changed in MDW & was hoping he'd be one of the FAs!
Keep up the great posts, Carole, as well as every one else! 🙂

Awww, I'm sorry, Kim! It's too bad I don't go through DAL again! There's certainly nothing wrong with STL. Maybe I can ask the pilot to make a stop in DAL, in addition to the scheduled stop in STL. 🙂

I have a question Paco. I was logging on to the Rapid Rewards & couldn't remember my login number; I must not have had it where it would remember the number. I got a new one & logged in, but my credits from last year didn't show up. Can you maybe tell me why? Thanks. :)
SWA LUV! 🙂

It's interesting to me to watch the FAs & "get an idea" of their personalities. I also like to watch the people at the gate & as they board the plane. I even often wonder where they're traveling.
Thanks for another great post, Carole! Can you be my FA to MCO in July? 🙂 I'm changing planes in STL (going & coming), though, & not DAL.

Is the article about TUL in this month's Spirit magazine? I thought it would be. If so, how can I get a copy? Maybe I can try to get one at my home airport, which is TUL. If it's not in it until July, then I can read it on the plane to MCO.
I certainly want to keep a copy! 🙂

That sounds like fun! I want to do that. I've seen the HDQ before when I was in DAL for both of my FA interviews last year. I didn't get to take a tour, but I saw lots of pictures, etc., on the walls. 🙂

I have some more ideas of merchandise I'd LUV to see SWA sell. One of them is bumper stickers that say "I LUV SWA" & maybe "My LUV belongs to SWA." I've also thought about shirts that say Southwest Airlines in the upper left corner, & on the back they could either list all the cities the you serve, or have a map with all of the cities on them. It would probably be too hard to list all the cities, since there are so many. Maybe you could have the codes. Other ideas I have for shirts are ones that say "I LUV SWA," as well as ones that have a theme painted plane on the front; then above or below, it could have which theme it is, such as Spirit plane, Shamu, Lone Star One, etc. Maybe you could even make pillows like that-with the theme painted aircraft. Last year, I mailed a letter with my other ideas. 🙂

Thank you, Phil. I've lost two others to cancer, in addition to the ones mentioned above; one of them was my grandma (dad's mom), who died on my 16th birthday in July 1992, & the other was a friend who died in August 2003.
Yes, my work is hard, yet rewarding. I've had times when I was looking into the eyes of some of the Alzheimer's patients & wanted to cry.
I want to commend SWA on all of the good things they do, such as their involvement with Ronald McDonald house, etc.
SWA LUV, always, from a future RSA, CSA, & FA! :)
P.S. Believe me, when I'm leading or helping lead exercise (which is one of the many activities we do for the residents), I'm not afraid to make it fun! I'm not afraid to be silly in front of them. The same goes for when we have rhythym (I drew a blank on how to spell that!) band & certain other activities! Plus, I have ones I know I can tease & joke around with, & I have ones I know not to do that to!

Great job! In addition to my idea of employees participating in Race for the Cure, I'd like to see you maybe also participate in Relay for Life, & in any events dealing with Cystic Fibrosis & Alzheimers. I don't have cancer or CF, but in my volunteer work I did at two hospitals, I've worked with kids, teens, adults who do (well, the adults don't have CF); plus, in my work as an Activity Assistant, I work with residents in Health Care, & as well as those who have Alzheimers.
One of my favorite former HS teachers has breast cancer, & I lost two other favorite former HS teachers to different types of cancer. 😞

I LUV DC! It's awesome. I've been there five times. I've been to the FBI, Lincoln & Jefferson Memorials, the Holocaust Museum (I'm ethnically Jewish), & I've seen the Changing of the Guard at Arlington National Cemetary, & Ive been up in the Washington Monument, as well as many other places; once, I got to participate with three others to walk down to see the wreath being laid. Of course, we four didn't actually lay the wreath, but still, it was quite an awesome experience!
Yes, Paul, please do go to the Holocaust Museum!
