I wish I could have flown the Concorde! That would have been awesome. When my parents & I were coming back from Israel in 1994, we had to change planes & go through customs at JFK. After landing, the pilot announced that a Concorde plane was taking off, or landing-I forgot which; it was to the left, which is the side we were sitting on. Unfortunately, when I looked out the window, I didn't see it. 😞 Perhaps Southwest will build this type of aircraft someday! I wish! 🙂

Ha, ha, Kim & Brian! 🙂 Actually, I did notice they were spelled wrong. You know, a necklace from "Tiffeny's" would be nice, too. 🙂

I do not like the other AAirline you're talking about, either! Out of every airline I fly, Southwest is definitely the best! 🙂 SWA LUV!

I stayed in a somewhat similar place to that one in Chattanooga, & really enjoyed it! I can't remember the name & don't know if it's still there. It's been several years.

Okay, Kim! In place of the Lexus, though (& there's certainly nothing wrong with that type of car!), can I have a red, two door Honda Civic, please? Can I also have another plane ticket back to Israel, this time on El Al, which is the Israeli airline? Thanks! 🙂 Please let me know when you need the check!

That's great! I have an idea. I participate in Race for the Cure every year (I don't have breast cancer, but a great grandmother of mine was a 20 plus year survivor of it, but didn't die from it; also, one of my favorite former high school teachers of mine has breast cancer) & would LUV to see SWA employees participate!

I think it would be neat if all of us bloggers (including Carol, Brian, Captain Ray, & all the other employees who post, too, of course!) could meet in person! I'd LUV that; I wish we could. It would be fun. 🙂 External Blog Boy is the only one I've met in person.

Thanks, Ray! That helps-it really does. :)
Ha, ha Kim! 🙂 I seriously should buy his book. I LUV to read; in fact, I've read my book Nuts! so much that some of the pages have fallen out. I still have the book, along with the pages that came out. I need to tape them back again!

I noticed a picture of Susie. Is that Susie Boersema (I'm sorry if I misspelled the last name) from Airline? It looks like her, & if it is, I saw her hair is darker. 🙂

I forgot two other questions, then I think that will be all (at least for a while!). Anyway, how many miles is the aircraft off the ground when you let the wheels up, & how many miles from the airport are you when you let the landing gear down?

Tony, you hear by phone or mail. If it's good, they call. They do let you know either way, though, so hopefully you'll get a call!

I have a few questions. When taking off, how many MPH is the plane going from the time it accelerates to the time it lifts off the runway? How many MPH is it going when it lands? Also, how much of the runway is used from the time the plane accelerates until it actually takes off? Two more: When an aircraft has to reroute while in the air due to, say, thunderstorms, why does it go over the particular city(ies) it does, & how far ahead of time do you know you have to reroute? I can think of at least two or three times of flights I've been on having to reroute while in the air because of storms.
If I were a pilot, even though I know the rampers are backing the plane out, I'd want to do just like I do when I drive & turn to look & make sure there are no planes behind me! I'd also want to signal when I'm turning on the runway & when I'm in the air! 🙂

Ha! 🙂 I've never used my College Algebra. When do you graduate?
Quadratic formula (I can't type how it actually looks): x=negative b + or - the square root of b squared -4ac over 2a. It looks really weird like that.
I hope things are going well, & am looking forward to more posts! Again, thanks for everything you all do, & God Bless all of you!

Thanks, USS Blog Boy! 🙂 By the way, how do you like College Algebra? I took it in college several years ago & had a great teacher; I just didn't like the class because I don't like Math!

Hi, Beth. I've interviewed for FA, CSA, & RSA with SWA. Sometimes I wore dresses, & sometimes skirts. You sound like me! I've always been fascinated with aviation & I will always LUV to fly, especially on SWA, which is my favorite! I'm a college graduate, too, but it's been 2 1/2 years since I did.
