@nailsandtales   there is a known overload issue... keep trying... your process may be a bit longer than some of use if your profile is not complete -- It is my understanding you will need an upload and to complete the application questions.   Due to the overwhelming interest this morning, we are experiencing a bit of turbulence with the site. @camarzilli   thank you for sharing the progress of portial input ... the fix will like be like a beverage service a choppy flight off and on and likely a longer process/flight than we expected... see posts b @KelbyTansey   She does state the position with stay open for about two days and does not 'sell' out at certain number.   Due to the overwhelming interest this morning, we are experiencing a bit of turbulence with the site. Hi @mcastino78 i have done this several times with a great outcomes ..however Be prepared to resource ($ or points) if the flight gets sold out  and Switch does not go well so some risk...I am missing how you are doing the March fl resversatiion... if points ...best you get them right back and holds the seat.. call after feb and switch name ..real time thank you swa... if another seat is open book and cancel point seat. .. if sold out then call agent will attempt to delete point seat and get comp. seat there is the risk or do not take the risk and burn the points. I have checked on several days the loads change a bunch.  Good but tricky ....ps I luv to keep my points above 40k. For flex...works well unless my college students use the points...smile   Have fun feb and march ... View more

@ginavroth   Ditto. I have had several off experiences.  After much thought I now ask if the passenger is on the bird, kindly assuming they have gone somewhere on the plane, when the answer is no, I express gratitude for open seating and  express my happiness for the seat it which will make the flight enjoyable. The approach seems to alert and add ease for the swa fa involved, one last note. I expect the other passanger to be a bit off... sort of like a toddler when you take something away... in the case they are not disappointed and are kind it is a win win....either way then I enjoy the luv, fun and safe flight.   happy flying ...
