Bill, I see that San Diego was cut from non-stop service. I cant believe the numbers were not there to keep this flight in service. Maybe San Franscisco but not San Deigo. Any chance they may bring this back? A 4 hour flight to San Deigo is a blessing when compared to a 6 hour flight. UGH!!!!!!

Agree with DancingDavidE -- it's likely the second flight boarding position will be a bit better. Check the boarding pass for your second flight just to make sure. I've usually had a better boarding position on 2nd leg flights so I see David's rationale.

I was travelling with my adult niece. I asked SWA whether the first person could save a seat for the second (in case our boarding numbers were far apart) and was told yes, as long as I wasn't saving a bunch of seats. Other passengers didn't gripe, possibly because the seat I was saving was a middle seat. I personally see no problem saving 1 seat for a companion, but a bunch of seats? That's getting ridiculous.
