Tickets are not transferable. Assuming you purchased Wanna Get Away tickets, you'll need to cancel your husband's, and the funds will be reserved for use in his name only for one year from the date of purchase. If you happened to use RR Points to book the flights, you can simply cancel your husband's and the points will be redeposited into your account, and can be used to book your daughter's ticket.

Yes, you can cancel his ticket and you'll get a credit for it, but it can only be used by your husband and must be used within one year of the day you booked the flight you are canceling. If you're not 100% certain about him going or not going on the trip there's no need to cancel it now, you can wait until 10 minutes before the flight, although I would suggest not waiting quite that long. Once you do know what his plans are you can cancel if necessary.

Lots of other posts here about changing flights, but here's the summary. If you view your upcoming trips online you'll see a "change" option. When you select that you'll be asked which flights in the trip you'd like to change. In this case it sounds like you would want to change both the outbound and return flights. Then search for and select new flights and you'll be informed if there is an additional balance due or if the new flights are cheaper you'll be issued travel funds which you can use for future flights. You can also do all this over the phone if you'd prefer. Give it a try and reply how it goes or if you have additional questions.
