I freqently receive job alert emails from Southwest; however, I've noticed on more than one occasion that I've applied to a job immediately after receiving a job alert, and it states the job is no longer available. I received an email earlier today and was so excited to apply for the Marketing Associate position; however when I attempted to do so, I received a response that the job is not currently available. I also noticed the job posted yesterday, so is it possible that the job expired within 24 hours prior to me receiving the job alert? Thanks, Bandy

I applied for the Emerging Leader Development Program earlier this evening. I'm concerned that Step 4 of the application process may not have been completed; however, I received a message stating that my application was successfully received. I don't recall answering the disability question, and if possible I'd like to ensure that the question was answered reflecting that "I do not have a disability." Thank you! Bandy

Hi Cliff, I'm not sure when the next ELDP posting will be, and I believe the open window for applying for the January program started on August 7th and ended August 14th. I'm also not sure if there will be a future opportunity to apply for the program that begins next January but will let you know if I hear of anything. Hi Danny, Just updating you since my last post regarding my profile. I believe I've figured out why I wasn't seeing my "work section" information and the status of my application. However, I'm still not seeing anything that allows me to upload my Letters of Recommendation and "Why Southwest" essay. From your previous response that it is best to submit all documents at the same time, should I be concerned that I haven't been able to upload these other documents? Hi Danny, Thanks again for the information you provided regarding my profile question. I've noticed though that when I go to update my profile, some of the sections aren't showing up. The last section, I believe titled "Campus Outreach," allows for uploading letters of recommendation and the "Why Southwest" essay, etc., and has shown up a couple of times and been absent a few others. It's not just that particular section either. The current status of my profile isn't reflecting the "Work Experience" section (which was once there) and again, the "Campus Outreach" section, which I would like to access in order to upload my letters of recommendation and essay. Just thought I would touch base with you to see if what I'm experiencing is possibly the result of something I'm doing or not doing. Thanks, Bandy

Hi Kelby, I'm planning to complete and submit my application for the ELDP position, and I see where there are options on my Southwest Profile to upload a resume, letters of recommendation, a "Why Southwest" essay, and transcript. Does Southwest prefer to initially have a resume and application only, or is it preferred that all documents referenced above be uploaded prior to my application submission? Thanks in advance, Bandy
