I’m flying international from PHX in August. I read that Southwest’s counter opens 90 minutes prior to the first flight which appears to be my flight at 5:10AM. Seems like that’s cutting it real close for an international flight. Can anyone share their experience with similar situation?
I've flown international several times on the 5:00 am flights. Surprisingly the airport is quite busy at that early hour, but we've always had no problem tagging and bagging and getting through TSA with time to spare.
