How is this even possible?? Checked in at 24 hours on the dot and I’m C-08?!

Did all 200 other passengers manage to check in 30 seconds before me? I’ve never had this happen.

Really looking forward to my middle seat on this 4 hour flight 😐

Used to love the no assigned seating thing. As a solo flyer, as long as I checked in right at the 24 hour mark, I was pretty well guaranteed an aisle.

How is paying for a better boarding position better than paying for an assigned seat?!

Sorry to hear that this happened to you.,

Several things could have happened:

1) If there were lots of other passengers who booked connecting flights, then they would have been checked in 24 hours before their first flight - which might have been hours before you could do so

2) Then there are all those people that bought Early Bird Check In

3) Then there were all those A-List and A-List Preferred people and others with them

4) And if you were just a minute or two late, those that beat you to hitting the check in button

I had C8 before on a MAX8 and still got an aisle in the back of the plane 

also if your going from a big connection city lots of other people will be checked in before you
