Currently, I have 127,000 of the 135,000 points. Today, Nov 20th my mother used my referral link which will give me another 20,000 points.
My chase closing date is Dec 4th for the next credit card cycle. Should I move my date for the following cycle from Jan 4th to Dec 30th to maximize likelihood of these points hitting my SW rapid rewards account? Please advise, thank you so much!

I think you should move your closing date to Dec 30th, because it will give you more time to get the points from your mother’s referral. According to the Chase website, it can take up to 8 weeks for the referral points to post to your account. If you move your closing date to Dec 30th, you will have until Jan 29th to get the points in your Southwest account.

I was reading that they need to hit my rapid rewards account in 2023, and sometimes that may take a week or two, so maybe Dev 20th?

My closing date is 26th and the points have posted in time before the end of the month.
