Disappointed - No referral bonus

I am extremely disappointed with Chase and Southwest. After referring my spouse with my unique link, the Chase site crashed for him. When he refreshed it worked but it did not take my referral link. I called Chase and SW immediately to rectify and was told it was up to their marketing department. It's been weeks and I've heard and received nothing. I will not be referring anyone else for any Chase card. I'm extremely disappointed. Anyone else run into this issue?

This is an unfortunate user error. You should have tried it again from the beginning using your referral link.
