Southwest Hotels & TQP

Hi Community!

I’m 5k points away from qualifying for a companion pass.  Using the Southwest app, I purchased a hotel stay (purchased 12/9) for the night of 12/14 where and I will receive $5k points. The points will post before year end. My Southwest statement date is 12/11. Given this scenario, will I earn a companion pass for 2024?

Hotel points posting is completely unrelated to your credit card posting date.. if the hotel points put you over the 135,000 point threshold, yes you will get CP. whatever points you get on your 12/11 RR credit card statement will be additive to that
