Promotional Companion Pass

If the promotion for the companion pass starts August 5:

1. Am I able to add my companion to my flight that departs on August 5? 

2. If I would like to change my companion (from a previous companion pass promotion) should I call beforehand? 

For context my flight departs at 2pm on August 5, however I would just miss getting an early boarding group since I won’t be able to check in 24 hours prior without adding my companion first. 

3. Will the complimentary upgraded boarding (from the SW credit card) be complimentary for my companion too?

Yes, but you won't be able to do so until August 5

You can't do that til August 5.

I don;t think you canimentary for my companion too? 

You can apply your Chase upgraded boarding to anyne you want - including your companion
