Need Service to Stockton-Modesto

The Stockton-Modesto, California area has over 1.3 million people in the two counties, but there is no scheduled airline service except Allegiant. Flying on Southwest means an hour or two drive at the best of times, and congested traffic may make it much longer. It seems like a natural for Southwest, the kind of under-served small airport that was Southwest's original bread and butter.

Any chance of seeing Southwest at Stockton Airport in the foreseeable future?

Use one of the methods in Contact Southwest Customer Service to let the airline know directly as this is a customer to customer forum.

An hour isn't so bad that's common for people in the larger cities even having an airport in the same city.

Are you on the southern end of that region then? Sacramento should be a reasonable option from Stockton but might be a bit far from Modesto. Fresno far and limited service.
