I may need to cancel a flight to Punta Cana. I paid using RR points and $120 in taxes. I know the points go back into my account. What happens to the taxes? Do I swallow them or do they get refunded? If refunded does it go back to my credit card or sit in Southwest travel bank?
Thank you.

Taxes on flights "bought" with RR points are refunded back to the original form of payment if you cancel the flight.
