Hello. My name is Shanon. I am currently going through the background phase for the inflight crew scheduler I position in Dallas,Tx. I’m currently on week two as far as the background check and I’m getting a little nervous because the start date is early next month. I’ve reached out to Sterling and they’ve said no additional docs are needed and to wait for someone at SWA to contact me regarding additional information. I’ve heard no news is good news, but I know the clock is ticking. Any advice lol? Thanks ❤️

@Shanon_renee unless you have something that triggers your background check, you are fine. Keep in mind that start dates can be adjusted to fit business needs. That’s the gray part of Scheduling. 😀 All you can really do now is be calm, cool, and collected until you hear back with your start date.
Good luck on your new career path.

Hey @Shannon_renee,
Congratulations on your job offer! We are thrilled to have you joining our Team. It sounds like you are right on track as far as background check process goes. You are correct in assuming that no news is good news. Thanks for your continued patience!

My name is Eric and The experience was fun during my f2f interview. I’m the same boat waiting patiently. I’m so excited for this opportunity. Patience is a virtue. Thank you for the wonderful opportunity for meeting such great people.

Unfortunately for me. They turned me down because of my disability. No matter how hard you try.

Hi! Congratulations! I just accepted an offer for the same position.. Wash the screening process long. It’s been a few weeks for me. I’m anxiously waiting for them to complete the background and everything. I started everything about two weeks ago at least.
Thanks!

Sterling talent solutions told me my background check was completed July 31st. I did my f2f interview July 17th and did my drug test the next day. I just checked my dashboard and the part time ramp position in Phoenix, AZ isn't showing anymore. I got the contingent offer of employment letter the day of my f2f interview. Is it bad if the position is no longer on my dashboard? And when should I hear back from southwest about a training date and if I passed my background. (I don't have any criminal charges just a few speeding tickets)

I’m currently in that same boat as well. I recently interviewed on 12/14/18, I was fingerprinted after my f2f. I emailed my recruiter inquiring about an update. She said I’d hear something by the first week of January. My dashboard still saids under review. Fingers crossed and prayers sent. Good luck everyone!

@Blackgod91 have you heard anything yet? If not, under review is still a good thing. As you can imagine there are tons of applicants the recruiters have to review.
Good luck!
