What documents needed for 18-year old. ID has not arrived. Passport is Expired.

Hello,

Can someone please tell me what form of ID is accepted by Southwest for just turned 18? Passport is expired and picture ID has not arrived. Traveling next week. I've tried searching online and not listed anywhere. Tried calling customer service and I've been on hold for 35 minutes.

Your first issue is with TSA.  Regardless of what the airline will and will not accept, you have to get through TSA.  Here are their requirements.

Now now now, don't mislead the youngster.  Of course better that than warning him that he is likely to run in to Frau Bucher.
