I HAD VERY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH SOUTHWEST AIRLINE. MY FIRST TIME TRAVELING WITH THEM, I NEED TO CHECK IN TWO BAGS AND THE LADIES IN THE FRONT WHERE TO CHECK IT TOLD ME THAT ONE OF MY BOXES IS NOT ACCEPTABLE BY SOUTHWEST AIRLINE . So THEY SOLD THE ONE THAT IS ACCEPTABLE BY THEIR POLICY TO ME. THEY EVEN HELP ME TO REPACK IT. BUT UNFORTUNATELY WHEN I RECEIVED MY LUGGAGE, EVERYTHING IN THE LUGGAGE BOX HAS BEEN DESTROYED, SOAP WAS MIXED WITH FOOD., ALL THE ZIPP LOCK BAG CUTS VERY BADLY, ALL THE PLASTIC BOWLS WITH FROZEN FOOD WAS BREAK, THE PRESSING IRON BROKEN INTO TWO, ALL THE DRY FOOD THAT WAS PACKED IN A ZEAL WAS BADLY CUT . All THE RED SNAPPER FRY FISH WORTH OF $700 WAS MIXED WITH LIQUID BATH SOAP THAT WAS ZEAL. THE LIQUID BATH SOAP WAS BROKEN. I HAVE TO PUT EVERYTHING IN TRASH BECAUSE NON OF THEM WAS ABLE TO BE RETRIEVED.

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate decisions and ultimately unsatisfactory results.

Not sure you can really blame Southwest for this.

I learned as child while watching groceries being bagged, Soap and Food NEVER go in the same "bag or box" because of the potential for cross contaminated, even though they are packaged separately.

I can't imagine showing up at baggage check-in without airline approved packaging to transport $700.00 of anything.

Own you decisions, learn from your decisions. This is not on the Airline.
