@kkaufmann what type of things stood out as a red flag? Did the email come from a SW Company email address? Please update the community as I’m sure many other potential candidates are interested in the outcome.

@TylerH I don’t know the answer to your question, however it appears you have some great experience behind you, and you have the right attitude. Congratulations on your upcoming retirement. Good luck to you, and hopefully we will see you on a SWA flight one day in the future.

@Lurbin2019 My guess would be that SW is not currently hiring in that area. Just questioning... you tried to sign up to be notified, but were unsuccessful?

Unfortunately, if you received an email saying that you will not be moving forward, I would think that you are no longer a potential candidate. As for your dashboard, I’m sure the system just needs to be updated.

@iplaywithairpla I’m sure that you will need to speak to someone in Recruitment, but possibly you can start the question by emailing them? swapeople@wnco.com. Not sure if this is the right path to go down, but maybe someone can help direct after you reach out to them.

@ntbadel I have experienced the same issues you are currently living through. My best advice to you is take a deep breath and be as kind as possible to the SW employee you speak to. I can imagine how frustrated you must feel especially now that it is impacting your family. Trust me... being kind, but disappointed will get you farther then just being irate and angry. Also, if you have Twitter, send them a DM. My experience has always been stellar, and I am responded to within minutes. Good luck to you, and hope you get to your destination without anymore issues.

@britmomo SWA will train you if selected to be a FA. As long as you put safety and people first, believe in service, and love to travel during your interview, actual “training” before applying is not mandatory. @samueltkrause to me it sounds like you are starting off on the right track with a clear vision of what your career inspirations are, positive work ethic, and have already taken the time to start building relationships at SW. All three are very important and will help drive your success. Keep up the great demeanor, and you will get noticed. Best of luck to you!

@SWA9159 did you speak to anyone else at SW after your interaction with Blake? If you truly felt that you were being talked down, you should have. My suggestion if you are still not satisfied with the answer given to you is to reach out to SW on Twitter. Every time I have reached out on Twitter, I get an immediate and fair response.

@Taylorm197 based off of business needs, SW hires at certain airports when there is a need. I would think that a transfer might apply to a current employee if the opportunity becomes available. Since you currently do not work for SW, your question regarding a transfer does not apply. You first need to work for SW, then I’m sure there is a waiting period before you can even request a transfer.
