Since this position is in Phoenix, the Team would need Candidates that currently are residents of Arizona or are willing to relocate for the role. We don't auto disqualify Candidates for having more than one application active at a time. 😊 You're welcome to submit your application to multiple positions at Southwest!
Your automatic denial was likely due to the answers submitted on your application questionnaire. For example, not living in a certain state required for the position, not meeting the minimum education/experience requirement, having interviewed for the same position within the last 6 months, etc.
As for your Flight Attendant application, we are still reviewing, interviewing, and hiring Candidates from the September posting! We'll keep you updated via email on any changes to your application's status!

Southwest doesn't currently have flight/trip minimums!
To add on to what @Passenger1C mentioned, we don't post for part time openings for the Flight Attendant position. Should you apply and be hired, that would be for a full time Flight Attendant. Southwest's schedule flexibility allows for you to pick up and drop trips - that's how you might be able to work more or less than a "typical" full time Employee! 😊

Since there's not a way to modify your application after clicking submit, I'm afraid there's no way to correct your application or fix that incorrectly-selected box. The only alternative would be to submit a new application with a secondary email address - be sure you are careful with those questionnaire answers the second time around!

Hey, @JJR737. I appreciate your post and interest in joining our Southwest Family in Baltimore! I took a closer look, and the Baltimore Ramp Agent (R-2024-40639) does have "This job is currently open to applicants who live in the State of Maryland." included in the job description.
You answered "no" to the application question, "Are you currently a resident of the State of Maryland?", and this automatically removed your application from consideration. So sorry for any confusion or disappointment there!

While the Flight Ops Flight Instructor role isn't currently posted for applications, I'm glad to offer some insight into the requirements of this role:
Licensing/Certification
Required: USA DOT/FAA Unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. The certificate must display the following:
"Airplane Multiengine Land" Category and Class Ratings
"English Proficient" limitation
Required: Must possess a valid United States Driver's License
Experience
Required: Flying experience operating an aircraft
Preferred: Prior instruction experience in a classroom or full motion simulator.
Preferred: 737 type rating
More details are provided when the position is posted for applications, but that's a glimpse at what would be required. If you were to transfer to become a First Officer later on, your seniority would reset for pilot scheduling, but you'd go in with great knowledge and insight to Southwest's operation!

(suspended, expired, revoked, or denied are not considered valid)". Since this is a requirement of the role you applied to, your application was removed from the process.
