Well there is one
Wait until after the TFs have expired then convert to vouchers - fee $100 per TF - anyone can use the vouchers - good for 6 months from date of issue
If you have more than one TF, use several of them to buy any ticket and then cancel that ticket (repeat as needed) - thus turning multiple $100 fees into one $100 fee.

I book hotels almost exclusively through Southwest so I can get the RR points - I've gotten as much as 8,000 points for a 3 night stay once! In my experience it can take up to 8 weeks for them to post, and there aren't really any workarounds for that except for waiting for them to post to your account. --Jessica

A List is good for the remainder of the year in which you earn it plus the entire next year. So if you qualify in 2019, then you status is effective upon qualification through the end of 2020. Per SW's site: "Rapid Rewards® A-List and A-List Preferred qualification is based on the calendar year. Once reached, you will begin enjoying the benefits immediately. You will maintain your A-List or A-List Preferred status for the remainder of the calendar year and the entire calendar year immediately following the year in which you qualified. Southwest® may from time to time offer promotional tier status. If you received tier status due to a promotional offer, the length of your tier may not be until the end of a calendar year. Please refer to the specific promotion for the tier length."

Libra_14: (sorry, quoting another post is broken): I responded to this question in another thread. Fyi, cross-posting the same question in multiple threads isn't allowed here. The good news is that you'll usually receive a quick reply to any question, even when posted just once. 😉

Libra_14: (sorry, quoting another post is broken): I replied to your post in the other thread. The shirt answer is that yes, the points should qualify. The long answer is more complicated. 😉 https://www.southwestaircommunity.com/t5/Rapid-Rewards-Credit-Card/Extra-Points-on-hotel-booking/m-p/96154#M463
