I did not receive a confirmation. However after a week or two a received an email that my background check has cleared and someone will contact me. Someone called me the next day

Yes possibly shorter or longer then those time frames just depends on the job your applying for and on usps as well how fast they get it back…. Iv been waiting for mine to clear and I’m hitting my 4th week still no word yet.

Yes they will email you with the details for booking the appointments. You can knock them both out at once depending on where you go or you can set up two separate appointments for each.

Last update I received was a week ago stating my drug test and fingerprint clearance have been submitted and now I’m waiting to hear back about those two task as well as the background check. Last thing I did for background check was sign the acknowledgment form when being offered contingent offer from southwest.

How will you be notified if your background check has cleared? Would you be notified via email or USPS mail? I received mail the other day from USPS but my dog chewed up letter up before I could open it and I’m worried that could have been an update for the background I called them and they could provide no assistance.

You should hear back soon stay optimistic! I just got through that process last week. Took them a week or so to get back to me after I signed the acknowledgments to set up my fingerprint and drug screening. Now I’m waiting to hear back since Iv completed those! Good luck and stay patient

I actually didn’t receive a phone call. I received an email stating Iv been selected to proceed in the process I’m assuming they changed the way tge do the process but I’m not sure. From there I went on to the virtual face to face interview then the background check, drug test and fingerprint clearance. Now it’s a waiting game to hear back. The process takes awhile though so be patient and don’t stress to much!

Received a call last week with a contingent offer! Very excited to be a part of the southwest community. Heard the hiring process, background check, fingerprint clearance, and drug test can take a while so trying not to be too nervous about not hearing anything. The weird thing is I didn't receive an email about the drug test or anything. I only received the background and covid acknowledgment, Is that normal?
