And the chicken Nanny fried was...ahem....very "fresh."
Bill, I think the term they use now is "free range". Having been raised on a farm it is better chicken then what you get in the stores today.

I understand using the reusable bags over plastic bags. I do not understand replacing paper towels with cotton towels. Both towels are made from a renewable resource which are planted so they can be harvested. Trees just take longer to get to their harvest date. So is it the fact of the processing to change the tree to paper or is it the fact that we are cutting down a tree?

Well to get a replacement card you could go online and sign in to your account and print one from there, if you want one on cardstock you could call one of the helpful people at 1 800 435 9792 and they could reissue a card.

Thanks for the interesting post. As a former Air Force I see how much more responsibility you have. We did our job each day and then were free, no kp or other tasks. My father in law served on the USS Indianapolis for a short time and he never talked about all the different tasks that were required on a ship.
You are doing a great service for our country and hope all goes well for you. I wish the media would take a little time to report on the good that the military does each day.
I don't envy you working the night shift. Will that rotate? we used to do 3 swings, 3 mids, and 3 days and then have two days off. God bless and I look forward to your next post.

My hat goes off for all those who serve in the military at this time. Those who take the time to capture the hearts and mind of the Iraqi children are planting seeds of diplomacy that may be reaped later.

OU fans should be proud of their team they played well. The Broncos played razzle dazzle and made this fan proud.

The food in the new MDW is wonderful. I like the Greek place (forgive me for not knowing its name), but what I would really like to see is a Giardonio's. Also, is it just me or have food prices at the airports came down from astronomical to acceptable.

I had just finished my morning workout when I heard on the radio that a plane had flown into the WTC. I like so many assumed it was a small aircraft. I arrived home in time to see the second aircraft fly into the second tower. I work as reservation sales agent for Southwest so I knew that I would be needed at work ASAP. Being a former military person I went into what we used to refer to as recall mode. I got the kids off to school and reported to work. For the next three or four days I worked twelve hour days rescheduling passengers and reassuring passengers that we would only fly once everyone knew we could do it safely. To me it felt like being back in the military, that I was doing what I could while our country was under attack.
I hope we never forget that day and the lessons learned.

What a great article. What a nice change to recognize that a lot has been done in New Orleans and that the city can not be rebuilt in a single year. I am sure, that living and working in a city that is being rebuilt most be a great challenge so my hats off to all who do.
