Nope! You do not have to pay again at your connection, only once per way. @brumseywrote: I have not seen anything from Southwest responding to this question? We are flying with 11 poeple and want to do the Early-Bird check in but we change planes in Chicago so I am curious if we have to pay twice??? Thank you,

Hi there- In Feedly, I just copied and pasted the web address for the discussion forums I was interested in following like this one for Boarding - https://www.southwestaircommunity.com/t5/Boarding/bd-p/boarding - and it added it fine. Good luck!

I have not gotten any in a long time either. According to USA Today, you get drink coupons after every 10 (I assume paid) one-way flights. Have you met that threshold?

Good, glad they are working on it! That would have to be a very common problem if the issue is the booking date is different than the credit date. It does always state when you book the room that you will earn the points upon completion of the stay, so it should count for the Companion Pass in the year you earn them. Good luck!

Yes, you are totally correct! If you booked on SouthwestHotels.com, the points definitely count toward the Companion Pass and in fact, I used that technique to finish up my 2017 Companion Pass in December. Definitely give Southwest a call. Good luck!

Here is what it says in the card offer details (click on Offer Details when you open this link) for the Premier: "This product is not available to either (i) current Cardmembers of this credit card, or (ii) previous Cardmembers of this credit card who received a new Cardmember bonus for this credit card within the last 24 months. " It says "this product," meaning the card, is not available, not the bonus. So I think you cannot apply for the card (and its bonus) until 24 months have passed from when you EARNED your last bonus. I hope that helps. I did confirm from a Chase spokesperson on my blog that the current Southwest card offers are going away for now on 4/4, so hope you can apply before then. Good luck!

I can't imagine them penalizing you for legitimately cancelling and re-booking a trip. Because Southwest has no cancellation fees, people to this ALL the time when they find a better deal than what they originally paid. As long as you are making this standard practice, I think you should be fine.

Agreed. I have had to do that before and it's no big deal. Just do it before you get your boarding pass, because then it becomes a bigger deal. 🙂

Hi Rachel- Southwest requires that kids be six or younger to take advantage of Family Boarding. So one parent and the 6-year-old could board during Family Boarding, but the 7-year-old and other parent would need to board in their assigned order. I have a 10 and 13-year-old and we have never had a problem sitting at least one parent and one child together, even with a C boarding order (though we did end up in the back of the plane :)). Here is more info: Boarding FAQs Good luck!

If it's all under the same confirmation #, only one person will check all of you in. I'd call Southwest and ask if you can add your Rapid Rewards # to the flight so you can earn your points. Have fun!

Hi Tina, it looks like your carry-on might be too long. Southwest allows 10X16X24 (see their photo here: https://www.southwest.com/html/customer-service/baggage/index.html?clk=GFOOTER-CUSTOMER-BAGS). Personal item dimensions are: 18.5 x 8.5 x 13.5 inch dimensions. So looks like you'll be OK there. Good luck!

Wow, what a great use of the Companion Pass! We love Disney too, but never thought of buying an annual pass as non locals.
