No, the drink coupons are from Southwest. (I fly a ton as a consultant) But the letter that is mailed to me has my old employers name on it. So somewhere in a southwest system they have linked me to my old employer (company name). I have looked on my profile and I see no space for "Current Employer" or any SWBiz ID or anything. I know when I switched companies about 4-5 years ago I did something with SWBiz or something but even then I am not sure if I am somehow linked to different companies or not.

I agree making the middle and window seats wait is not a good idea. I know many times I am held up by those "collecting" their items. Sometimes I try to be "nice" and let someone go but many times even the isle person is still putting items away etc. Most are not in that big of a hurry to get off the plane. For me as I sit near the front many times I am held up by discussions in the jetway, people picking up their strollers, and people boarding/waiting for wheelchairs. Wider Jetbridges could help alleviate some of this. Also look at requiring those that are disabled wait in their seat for a wheelchair. Many times those that can barely walk are out there trying to block the jet bridges and get in their chair. Last week one of the ladies and her traveling companion were blocking the path discussing if she could go in the chair or not for several minutes. It appeared that they could not "find" her in their order. Maybe give them a wristband or something to scan to make it "faster".

Yes I have run into this myself. That is why I use the voucher and other "refunds" to make sure I am booking a flight that I will not be editing. A while back I almost lost 200 when trying to spend $10 from a prior trip. I now keep track of "end dates" to make sure.

So years ago I thought I went online and put in a business name or something linking myself to a prior employer. I no longer work at this job but every time I get my drink coupons it links to that account. I am wondering what this is doing and if I can reset it? I don't want to keep giving money to my old employer. 🙂

I will admit more recently even the "local" wifi was struggling. Was trying to watch a movie and it was not even able to "keep up" with the movie. Considering that Southwest only does the wifi "casting" it does suck. I usually have the "backup" of using local movies but as an A-List I do like my wifi to get my Text messages etc which as of late has become very very spotty. 😞

Hey CHGOFLYER, I liked the fact that I could save the boarding pass format to a third party app. When they updated this the last few weeks I can no longer do it. (I run stock google Pixel XL) and the google pay does nothing for me. In fact now if I save it to google pay I have to dig for my boarding pass. The third party app let me find the boarding pass when launched, stayed on my screen when locked and set the birghness to the highest. (PassAndroid). I have done the picture from the southwest app and that is a hassle to find in the 1,000s of pictures i have on my phone. Right now my "alternative" is to email it to myself and then open the pkpass file up from the email to 'import" it into my (PassAndroid). Where as saving it as PKPass would be better. The southwest app sucks as many times if you do not pull up the Boarding pass seconds before you get to the gate it has to "refresh" and last time I had to kill the Southwest App and realuanch it to pull up the boarding pass. I like the boarding notification but for the boarding pass view Southwests app has a bit of a ways to go to before I can use it as primary.

The idea of putting the disabled at the back is not a good solution. The flight attendants usually sit in the front. If you put a handicapped person in the back and there is an emergency to exit the aircraft the flight attendants are around at the front to help them off. If they are in the back it may spell disaster.. Putting restrictions as to where they can sit is put in place. (No exit rows). Some people may be taking advantage of the pre boarding rule I agree but in my experiance (and I do fly a lot) I do not see that many taking advantage. I even have friends who can claim a "Medical" issue and they prefer boarding with the normal group because they do not want to be "pointed at".
