It seems most, if not all, e-gift cards are gone and after talking to a More Rewards rep it sounded like they were subject to a lot of fraud and related issues. I think it's unlikely we'll see them again. Shame, cause it was such a nice experience to get them right away 🙂

In-seat power is nice and all, but what I have found is that the hardware needed to support this function is not exactly tiny. Guess where it's placed? Under the seats, and this means less room for your feet and your personal carry on item. Some AA/United flights, I've been forced to palce my laptop bag in the over head bin becasue it wouldn't fit under the seat thanks to the power supply hardware.

YES! I was so happy to see that Lagunitas. And a month or so I found it's gone. 😞 Back to letting the coupons collect dust or give them away to fellow travelers, I guess...

In some cases it'd be nice to have assigned seats but - the advantage of unassigned seats is huge; it's proven to be the fastest boarding process, hands down. Despite the few times I've been late to board and ended up in middles seats, I wouldn't change it!

Hi Janet, what you are referring to as an upgraded ticket is not an A-list ticket, it's the Business Select ticket. Being A-list has great benefits, it will get you the automatic check-in, and better boarding position in general and yo ucan go through the "First class" security lines. However, the first 15 regular boarding slots (A 1-15) are Business Select travelers. They do have to wait for the pre-boarders, and yes, sometimes there's quite a few of them but I find that 90% of the time, there are less than 5 people pre-boarding.

One thing to consider, and please correct me if I am wrong, but what happens to your credit score if you keep on opening up new cards all the time?

So today I called the More Rewards customer service line and the representative had no information at all, besides being able to confirm that they currently did not offer the Amazon gift cards. I asked who was responsible for the selection the offer and he said that it was Southwest that picked the available options. So, Southwest, PLEASE bring back the Amazon cards!

I have several times in the past used my points to redeem for Amazon gift cards. Such a great option to have and good value! Now, I went to the More Rewards section and it seems the Amazon gift card option has been removed! Will someone please tell me that it is only temporary!! Also, a few years ago, yo ucould get electronic delivery of the gift cards which was awesome and most of all, very fast (unlike the current wait of 2 weeks or so). If someone could share some insight on this. that would be great!

If I am not mistaken, your points show up in your account when you complete the travel. Other points, that you accrue using the credit card, will show when you pay off the balance (give or take a day or so). If you want to use the points from the outbound flight and redeem on the return flight, that's not going to be working out very well. Even if the points would post on your account in time for the return flight, you'd have to wait to book the return flight until a day or so prior to departure in order to be able to use points towards the return flight. The ticket price then would be several times what you'd pay if you booked it all right now, weeks in advance.
