@Mrkmbb Good point! I am pretty sure the extra space for let is a good ideas. Think of Amtrack that provided the passenger lots of leg room! I have been a passenger of Amtrack for years providing me a leg room a lots of love!!!!. Unfortunately for the aircraft like SWA and others, not enough of room for it. cramped and not enough of room for your leg is not good for blood circulating results in blood clots.

I would suggest that you invest in one of the Southwest blue bags for $15 (maybe $10? I forget) and you can put the car seat attached to the base inside the bag and it will be easily handled as one item - I'd curbside check that myself, but that's up to you. If the car seat goes into the stroller, then instead I would take the stroller and car seat through the airport and put them in a blue bag for gate check together, then you can use them to get out of the airport too. Agreed with the seat belt straps - if you'll be driving a limited amount or taking taxis/uber/lyft it works well to just use the belts instead of bringing the base along with you. If you'll be driving a long time in a rental car over several days, maybe the base makes sense.

Hi @Bill, Thank you for writing about your Solar Eclipse experience in great detail. I had originally planned on driving out to Carbondale, IL to witness the event, but couldn't secure a place to stay for the night ( was able to witness it on TV). Now I can't wait to start planning for the next solar exclipse on April 2024! Best, Lin

Hi @Lburkett2, I know it has been a while since you had posted, but I saw your post recently. I was curious if you had your interview and wanted to know how your experience was. Would you be able to share your interview process on the message board and if you were offer the position ( to offer congratulations as well)? I would love to learn more about the process/time frame for when the next hiring event comes up. Thank you, Lin
