Flown twice out of Las Vegas in the last month -- the second time will be tomorrow. Mobile boarding pass not available either time.
No other option available on the mobile app except "Please visit a kiosk or ticket counter for your boarding passes, or print them by visiting Southwest.com on a desktop."
Disappointed since Southwest says on its website SPECIFICALLY that mobile boarding passes are available at all US airports they fly out of.
When will this issue be fixed?

To be honest the simple solution here is to attach specific phone boarding passes to specific travelers. All this would take is for each traveler to have their own email and/or phone number at which they would individually recieve their pass. This just is not that hard. Just a couple more fields on the web page. Then the "confusion" suggested in another thread would not exist.

Funny thing is this used to work by a trick: At the webpage where the selection of the mobile boarding pass was missing, you could fiddle manually in the URL, replacing the ...Print... part with
https://www.southwest.com/flight/selectCheckinDocDelivery.html?int=. This got you to the page where you could get multiple mobile boarding passes.
Somewhere in the last months, SW has changed the website a bit, the path is now with 'air' instead of 'flight', and so the trick doesn't work anymore (probably the rest of the path simply needs to be adjusted too).
If anyone can post the URL where he can select a mobile boarding pass (meaning someone who booked a single ticket), we could publish this URL and we'd all be back in business (assuming that someone who reads these pages, and can change an URL, is able to not mix up two boarding passes in his phone)

Mobile boarding pass should be available for family, it is inconvenient and consumes more time to get a boarding pass from an airport. Southwest should take this feedback and put enhancement request to their Developers to get Family Mobile Boarding pass.

They are. 😉 As of a few weeks ago, mobile boarding passes are available for those on multi-passenger itineraries. Be aware though that you'll need the latest version of the app, and each passenger will need a RR account in order to get their own mobile BP. A work-around for "families" would be for the parent to sign in individually for each child and get their BP, then save it to the parent's device.

That is insane. Not a work around at all. Four kids?! On a travel day? Me managing all of those logins which I guess I'm just going to store in a Google doc somewhere?! Not safe, secure, convenient, anything.

I was not seeing the option to get the mobile boarding pass from the southwest's web check-in page. BUT, I was able to get the mobile boarding pass after logging into the app with my rapid rewards account. I was even traveling with another person.
Note: this only gave me my boarding passes, not my additional traveler's. They had to log into their own account on the app to get theirs.

Were both of you on a single reservation / confirmation number? If so, this is a new development, as Southwest's website still says that mobile boarding passes are not available to those on multi-passenger itineraries.

I am traveling with my wife this next trip tomorrow but usually travel alone. Couldn't figure out why I couldn't get mobile passes delivered until I came here. My suggestion is two-fold.
1. put on the check-in page a list of reasons you can't get a mobile boarding pass
2. fix this situation so that you can deliver boarding passes to people in your party checking in, or they can get their own based on the confirmation number plus their name on their device.
