Need to do better

I was checking in a flight from St Louis to Los Angeles and was welcomed at all and the staff was very rude even if I was asking for help at the check in counter around 4 am central time. Services needs to do better than what I have experienced because I am extremely disappointed in the service that given to me in St. Louis.
