'need a little extra time to board ? Abuse of the system - take any seat AFTER row 18

Here's a suggestion for the rampant abuse of the 'special needs' pre boarding. Require families and those folks 'needing a little extra time' to take any seat AFTER row 18. After all, if they take extra time boarding they will also require extra time exiting. I would love to see SW try this experiment to see if it cuts down on the abuse of the system.

Southwest coild do that, but it would be illegal.

Unless Southwest somehow plays the passenger "safety" card, yes this is illegal

Soon, Southwest will start assigning boarding positions to all of the preboard passengers, and when they have boarded, the remaining six people who did not preboard may walk on the plane.
