Given the SWA is going to assign seating, how will this work with also having a companion pass? Also, exit row seating is nice, before it you were early enough in the A group, you could get one. Now what? What is your wife with a companion pass wants to sit with you.
Seems that this new assigned seating could cause major headaches in this situation.

Southwest hasn't announced what it's assigned seating plan will be, so it's a bit premature to speculate how it will impact companion pass.

Well, they need to think about its implications since many of its high-mileage (A-List Preferred) members have companion passes and wouldn't like to see them having to sit separately. Leadership needs to think about this .....
