I’ve read the description a couple times and I’m still confused. Can my daughter watch the in flight movies and tv shows for free, or will I need to purchase the wifi for the day? Thank you.

This should be fun to watch. 😄
No, you just need the app. Content is hosted locally on the plane.

There's instructions in the information packet in the seat back pocket. The same one that has all the snacks and beverages. You technically connect to the inflight WiFi, but there's no need to pay for internet.

True, however I haven't seen the information packet on flights lately - all they have is the safety instruction packet for the plane.
