Thinking of applying for the cards to earn the companion pass now. Is there any way to know in advance when my first closing date will be? Is it based on the day you're approved? Or when you activate? I'd like it to be as close to the first of the month as possible, so that I have all December to spend on it without fear that the spending will post before Jan 1.
I don t think there is a way to control your first closing date.
What you can do is request a different closng date as soon as you get your card. You can't change your next (in your case first) closing date, but you can change the one after that.
