Major Price Increase

I noticed prices went up significantly in the last couple weeks. It there a reason why? for instance i was looking at purchasing 5 tickets from Long Beach, Ca to Cancun, prices ranged from around $2,900 to $3,400. Now tickets are ranging from $4,200 to $4,800, why such the steep price increase literally overnight. Thanks

How far out are you looking?

I am looking over 3 months out. Travel is June 21-28

Prime summer travel season start the second week of June, so your dates are in that period.

SW prices change a lot. A few weeks ago prices to places I fly were outrageous. Then for a few weeks they were prety good. Now they are back to outrageous.
