Hey, so I was wondering after the phone interview the recruiter told me 4-6 weeks it takes for the hiring process. If I wait and put my 2 weeks in close to starting are they able to honor that and push my starting day back a bit ? Just don’t wanna leave so quickly!
Yeah that’s what I was gonna do. I’m just nervous cause my family have a trip late August and idk if I start before that somehow I’m gonna have to give up that trip so idk if I can delay starting somehow. As I really want the job as well
Agree with @dfwskier . Assuming you did receive a job offer, that conversation should happen until you are hired. I would not make any big decisions based off of a phone screen.
