737Max Equipment Problem

globalspringer
Explorer C

On two flights yesterday I was seated mid cabin and overheated due to lack of 737Max ventilation.  The overhead vent nozzles were wide open and there was hardly any air coming out of them.  Why can't there be more air?  Or is this a way to increase fuel efficiency?

If you are really unhappy, then perhaps you should file a complaint with the airline.

You'll need to note the seat you were in - the Max A/C system is fine in general, so if the specific plane is having an issue you can note it.

Did you notify the flight attendant? Sometimes the temperature can be set too high.

Those nozzles above you are only a portion of the A/C air, there should be plenty of ventilation and A/C capacity even if you had the nozzles fully closed.
