@samadams Another airline would not have given you the original credit that you applied to the purchase you made in September, probably wouldn't have an option to extend the expiring travel credit, and would have cost more originally, but if you want to learn that the hard way with another airline go for it.

@TheMiddleSeat, I agree under normal circumstances and if I just decided I didnt want to go on a trip - but if not for coronavirus, my trip would not be cancelled. Other airlines are proving REFUNDS at this point, yet SWA cannot even extend the time to use the travel funds. Why should they get to keep my hard earned money (and that of many others) when NO service has been provided for that money.
