E-Pass Cancellation

I booked flights using a couple Southwest flight e-pass domestic certificates. Something came up and I now need to cancel the trip. Can I receive the e-pass back or flight credit?

According to the Southwest Medical Transportation Grant E-Pass document, it appears that a phone call to the Southwest flight E-Pass desk will be needed to cancel a reservation booked with an e-pass.

 

If your travel needs change prior to your scheduled departure or during your travel, call the Southwest flight e-pass desk at 1-877-551-1211 to modify or cancel your reservation. You will need to provide the Southwest flight e-pass specialist your confirmation (record locator) number. You may also be asked to confirm your Southwest flight e-pass(es) numbers.

Good question; I've never had to cancel an ePass once I redeemed it, but my guess is you will get to use it again and you will just have to call them again to redeem it again.

I believe so, if not then change it to something a few months out until you know your schedule and then change it again to the flight you need in the end.

 

You have to call to do this anyway, so you can ask the agent what the options are for when you need to reschedule.
