Hello,
In about a week I will be flying from San Diego to Las Vegas with Southwest Airlines & I have a question which you can hopefully answer.
On the website I noticed Soutwest allows checked baggage with a linear size of 62 inches. I own the following suitcase of Samsonite (S'Cure Spinner 75CM): http://www.samsonite.nl/s-cure-spinner-75cm-zilver/49308-1776.html which has dimensions of 75 x 52 x 31 centimetre. In total this is a linear size of 158 centimetres.
Could you please clarify if this suitcase fits within your allowed limit of 62”? Since I read mixed stories online whether 62 inches is calculated as 157 or 158 centimetres by airlines.
If the suitcase is too big, I will simply bring another (quite smaller) one. But obviously I prefer this one.
Thanks in advance! 🙂
Kind regards,

I would be absolutely shocked if a bag were refused over a difference of 5.2mm. You'll be fine.
